Dr Manju Palam, BDSc (Melbourne), MSc Aesthetic Dentistry (London), MFGDP (RCS England)

Practice Principal

Manju's formative years were initially in country Victoria in Gippsland and then in the outer eastern suburb of Upwey. He was schooled at Yarra Valley Grammar and then the final two years at University High School. 

Manju graduated from The University of Melbourne Dental School, with electives at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London. He has had further training in Minimally Invasive Preventive Dentistry and Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dentistry in San Diego, California, and attended mini-residencies in dental implants, crown and bridge, dental aesthetics, and root canal therapeutics both here in Australia and in the US. He is a foundation member of the Australian Dental Association’s Continuing Education Programme.

Manju was accepted into the 2017 Masters Programme in Aesthetic Dentistry at King's College, University of London, and completed the three-year part-time programme in 2019, graduating with distinction. He was subsequently admitted as a member of the Dental Faculty of The Royal College of Surgeons. In 2020, Manju was engaged by the University of London in an ongoing capacity as a Supervisor to final year Masters students and then as an Examiner in 2021.

Manju practiced in Warrnambool, in South Western Victoria for 17 years, including a branch practice in Timboon with assistant dentists. Whilst in Warrnambool he was actively involved with Rotary International and was a benefactor of Brophy House (Family and Youth Services Charity).

Manju's main interest outside of dentistry is playing tennis socially.

 

 

Dr Cynthia Chu, BDSc (Melbourne)

Dentist

Cynthia grew up in Hong Kong before studying in Melbourne and graduated from The University of Melbourne Dental School in 1992. She worked in both private and public practices including the School Dental Service. She has also been a clinical demonstrator at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Malaya while relocated overseas with her family.

Cynthia enjoys all aspects of dentistry especially in restorative and preventive dentistry. She is an attentive, gentle practitioner with excellent clinical skills who put her patients immediately at ease. Particularly aware of the importance of continual professional development, Cynthia enjoys keeping up to date with current and evolving changes in dentistry by participating in courses both in Australia and internationally.

Away from work, Cynthia enjoys Pilates, attending musical performances and travelling.

In addition to speaking English, Cynthia is fluent in Cantonese.

Clare

Dental Nurse

Clare started out in hospitality then decided to try her hand at dental assisting. Graduated from Menzies Institute of Technology in 2013. She started working as a dental assistant in 2014 and hasn't looked back.

 

Simone

Reception

Simone is a dietitian by training however has not worked in that profession following the birth of her children. She helps out at the practice in the reception and with the admin work. Outside of work she enjoys gardening and walking her dog Lola.
